Our Story
In a time of uncertainty, passionfruit is the persistence to “bear fruit”, or create products. It is the act of learning to stay curious through the practice of creativity. As a coalition, passionfruit celebrates the individual apart of a collective, rather than the collective representing the individual.
Currently, passionfruit takes the form of an online pop-up shop, encouraging opportunities for senior Design students to explore new materials, craft, and sell their work while utilizing the Design thinking skills we have gleaned throughout our education. Our products were generated as a response to questions we posed that insinuate the process someone takes to overcome uncertainty. These questions are intended to be open-ended, to drive the result of the deliverables created for this project. Our goal is to understand how our cohort is persisting to “bear fruit” during these unprecedented times.

How long will it take for me to receive my order?
During this time of social isolation, we’re unaware of the future changes that could impact how our society operates. Products listed on passionfruit are going to be sold made-to-order. We want to make sure that creators have enough time, most likely towards the end of June or beginning of July to ship their products with efficiency.
Orders will be available to purchase until midnight PST on June 19, 2020. Once all orders have been placed, the information will be collected for production, and orders will start shipping out on July 6, 2020. If you have not received your product by August 3, 2020 please send us an email as soon as possible.
What does “made-to-order” mean?
Made-to-order is a production process that relies on the consumer demand to determine how many products will be produced within a certain time frame. This means that there may be a period of time from when your product is ordered, to when it is shipped, that is used for processing orders effectively.

Will I receive a notification of when my order has been shipped?
Yes, as soon as your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number over email to help you estimate the arrival of your product.
