Loose Lips Zine

Having a vulva, regardless of your identity, inevitably comes with baggage. We started this project with the hopes of acknowledging experiences that are beyond cis and heteronormative values that unravel the true realities of what having a vulva is like. Using individual expressions to unite common complications, we recognize our genitalia for how it functions and offers us pleasure. We want to understand why many of us feel uncomfortable having conversations or sharing stories about gynecological anatomy and pleasure. Even now, given the current events, it’s important to challenge ourselves and others to feel comfortable talking about the uncomfortable. This includes partners, friends, and family who associate with anyone who may relate to the experiences of having a vulva.
